This workshop is part of the University of Manchester project Visions of, and steps towards, an Environmentally Sustainable Space Future (more information: here). The project is a collaboration between researchers from Manchester’s Engineering and Geography Departments and aims to develop a vision for a sustainable space sector. The workshop, which focuses on the topic of space debris and space sustainability, will be held at the University of Manchester on Tuesday 8th April: 11am-4pm.

This workshop will bring together diverse experts and practitioners from across the space sector to discuss the challenge of space debris and strategies for tackling it. All perspectives and areas of expertise are welcome and participants will include engineers, scientists, academics, journalists and artists.
